Hello everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend! It’s really rare for me to have a whole weekend off but this one just gone I did so I made sure I jam packed it full with seeing my friends!
On the Friday I went for a meal at harvester, it was so yummy! I hadn’t seen my friend Kieran in so long so it was lovely to catch up, after the meal we went back to his house and had a couple of cocktails but as usual our quiet night in ended up being a rather late night out! (Woopsie!) I then spent the Saturday with him doing a little bit of shopping!
On the Sunday I went to nandos with the girls from my work. I really enjoyed this, all the girls that work there are so lovely and kind hearted! Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a picture of my food, I was so hungry it was gone before I’d even blinked haha
After the meal I decided to pop round my friends house. Katie is one of my closest friends and I love spending time with her. We spent the evening lounging in bed chatting away and having a good laugh! Somehow I got roped into painting her nails but I’ll let her off for that haha I ended up having such a lovely time I didn’t want to leave!
Did you all enjoy your weekend? Let me know in the comments what you got up to!
I recently spotted these in my local boots and knew instantly I had to have them! I absolutely love the original colour tattoos so I was so excited when I saw they had brought new ones out!
The three shades I picked up are Creme De Nude a creamy skin tone yellow, Creme De Rose a lovely neutral soft pink and Creamy Beige which is a medium warm brown. I am so happy I picked these up, although not as creamy as the shimmery shades they still blend out beautifully and are a perfect base to make sure your eyeshadow doesn’t crease and stays put all day!
I highly recommend you check these out (I’ve already managed to convince my friend to buy two of them! Hehe)
It’s been a while since I’ve been in lush so today I decided to take a little wander during my lunch break and pop into my local shop. I’ve always had a little soft spot for lush, the atmosphere in their shops are so lively and fun I come out with a big smile every time I leave. Walking back from Lush I so happened to walk past Mac and just had to do a little window shopping which then of course turned into getting my purse out shopping!
In lush there were quite a few products that were new or at least I hadn’t seen before so it was so nice to have a thorough look around and try everything! The first thing I picked up was Cup O’Coffee face mask, I haven’t seen this one before so thought I would give it a go! I used it tonight and I can say right of the bat that I LOVE it, if you are a coffee addict you will love it too! As I was wandering around this little gem caught my eye, The comforter shower gel. My favorite bubble bar is the comforter so when I saw they had decided to make it into a shower gel I did a little squeal inside, this smells exactly like the bubble bar does a sweet blackberry bundle of joy!
The next two items I have had before and couldn’t resist putting them in my basket! First is the Bubblegum lip scrub, I love this so much it smells super sweet and makes your lips soft and supple plus its edible! I then purchased Yuzu and Cocoa bubble bar (I’m sure this used to be orange?) It looks exactly like a macaroon and smells like it could be edible! My dad is installing a bath into our bathroom at the moment so once that is done this will be the first thing I will use!
I’ve become a little obsessed with mac lately, not so great for my bank account! I’ve been eyeing up both of these for a while and finally took the plunge today! First up I got a lip liner in the shade nightingale, a vampy berry, this will look amazing in the winter. I then got a pigment in the shade melon, such a gorgeous shade I can’t keep my eyes of it!
Please write below if you would like a review of any of these products!
hello everyone! So me and my friend Kate went on a little adventure in Cambridge yesterday and I thought I would show you what I brought when I was there! I’m going to do a couple of posts as I brought quite a bit (whoopsie!) so today I’m just going to show you what I brought from Mac.
It was my birthday not too long ago and my lovely parents brought me a Mac gift card, there was so many things I wanted I couldn’t wait to spend it! Here are the bits I got with it:
Fresh Mac lipsticks are so beautiful! This one is is pink plaid and it’s such a pretty matte pink. I then got a lip liner in edge to edge which is a medium pink with a purple undertone, it looks so nice underneath pink plaid and mehr lipstick.
I then got a paint pot in the colour indianwood, such a a pretty golden colour with slight orange shimmer running through it. I’ve had individual eyeshadow and have always wanted a pallet to put them in, I finally took the plunge and I’m so glad I did I love it! Finally I got fix plus, a cult classic that almost everyone has. I got this mainly for when I’m looking a bit too powdery and also to use with pigments!
I’m going to have a play around with all these and then will write some reviews to let you know how I got on with them!
