This palette has caused quite a stir in the blogging atmosphere recently, I’ve heard many mixed reviews, some great and some awful! So today I’m going to give you an honest opinion on the new urban decay naked heat palette!
Right of the bat I’m gonna say I’m in love. If you are a warm tone eyeshadow lover then this palette is the one for you! It is beautiful. I’ve heard some people saying the pigmentation isn’t great but I honestly think it’s great the only one colour I had a slight issue with was en feugo, when swatched it was a little bit patchy but other then that all the colours apply perfectly especially the shimmers! I think it has a great selection of light to dark shades so you can create so many different looks with this palette.
The copper/ red shimmer shades are absolutely stunning! If you are thinking about getting this palette and are a warm tone lover then I say go for it, in my eyes it’s worth every penny!
I recently spotted these in my local boots and knew instantly I had to have them! I absolutely love the original colour tattoos so I was so excited when I saw they had brought new ones out!
The three shades I picked up are Creme De Nude a creamy skin tone yellow, Creme De Rose a lovely neutral soft pink and Creamy Beige which is a medium warm brown. I am so happy I picked these up, although not as creamy as the shimmery shades they still blend out beautifully and are a perfect base to make sure your eyeshadow doesn’t crease and stays put all day!
I highly recommend you check these out (I’ve already managed to convince my friend to buy two of them! Hehe)
It’s been a while since I’ve been in lush so today I decided to take a little wander during my lunch break and pop into my local shop. I’ve always had a little soft spot for lush, the atmosphere in their shops are so lively and fun I come out with a big smile every time I leave. Walking back from Lush I so happened to walk past Mac and just had to do a little window shopping which then of course turned into getting my purse out shopping!
In lush there were quite a few products that were new or at least I hadn’t seen before so it was so nice to have a thorough look around and try everything! The first thing I picked up was Cup O’Coffee face mask, I haven’t seen this one before so thought I would give it a go! I used it tonight and I can say right of the bat that I LOVE it, if you are a coffee addict you will love it too! As I was wandering around this little gem caught my eye, The comforter shower gel. My favorite bubble bar is the comforter so when I saw they had decided to make it into a shower gel I did a little squeal inside, this smells exactly like the bubble bar does a sweet blackberry bundle of joy!
The next two items I have had before and couldn’t resist putting them in my basket! First is the Bubblegum lip scrub, I love this so much it smells super sweet and makes your lips soft and supple plus its edible! I then purchased Yuzu and Cocoa bubble bar (I’m sure this used to be orange?) It looks exactly like a macaroon and smells like it could be edible! My dad is installing a bath into our bathroom at the moment so once that is done this will be the first thing I will use!
I’ve become a little obsessed with mac lately, not so great for my bank account! I’ve been eyeing up both of these for a while and finally took the plunge today! First up I got a lip liner in the shade nightingale, a vampy berry, this will look amazing in the winter. I then got a pigment in the shade melon, such a gorgeous shade I can’t keep my eyes of it!
Please write below if you would like a review of any of these products!
hello everyone! So me and my friend Kate went on a little adventure in Cambridge yesterday and I thought I would show you what I brought when I was there! I’m going to do a couple of posts as I brought quite a bit (whoopsie!) so today I’m just going to show you what I brought from Mac.
It was my birthday not too long ago and my lovely parents brought me a Mac gift card, there was so many things I wanted I couldn’t wait to spend it! Here are the bits I got with it:
Fresh Mac lipsticks are so beautiful! This one is is pink plaid and it’s such a pretty matte pink. I then got a lip liner in edge to edge which is a medium pink with a purple undertone, it looks so nice underneath pink plaid and mehr lipstick.
I then got a paint pot in the colour indianwood, such a a pretty golden colour with slight orange shimmer running through it. I’ve had individual eyeshadow and have always wanted a pallet to put them in, I finally took the plunge and I’m so glad I did I love it! Finally I got fix plus, a cult classic that almost everyone has. I got this mainly for when I’m looking a bit too powdery and also to use with pigments!
I’m going to have a play around with all these and then will write some reviews to let you know how I got on with them!
